1. Il vestibolo (1) affiancato dalla bottega (16), comunicante per mezzo di un'alta porta con l'atrio (2) (successivamente murata, secondo Mau W, p. 87, ma attualmente aperta); i due ambienti si aprono sulla strada con soglie di lava. Sulla muratura, in opera quadrata di grandi blocchi di calcare restaurata in mattoni, sono resti di decorazione di I stile (cfr. fig. 15). Alla stessa fase appartiene il pavimento più antico dell’ambiente che segna con una soglia in cocciopesto ornata di meandri delineati in tessere Bianche l'ingresso nell'atrio. Al di sopra di questo pavimento ne e stato steso uno più recente, anch'esso di cocciopesto con ornato delineato in tessere bianche. 79 N54489

The vestibule (1) flanked by the communicating shop (16). by means of a high door with the atrium (2) (later murata, according to Mau W, p. 87, but currently open); the two rooms open onto the street with lava thresholds. On the masonry, in opus quadratum of large restored limestone blocks in brick, they are remains of 1st style decoration (see fig. 15). It belongs to the same phase the oldest floor of the room which marks with an ornate cocciopesto threshold of meanders outlined in tesserae White the entrance to the atrium. above this floor a more recent one has been laid out, also in cocciopesto with ornate outlined in tesserae white. 79N54489
