This photograph of the exhibition display features two canteens from the NMAA: the front one made in mid-13th century with brass and silver inlay (F1941.10) from modern day Syria or Northern Iraq; and the one in the back from early 15th century porcelain with cobalt pigment under colorless glaze (F1958.2) originated in Jingdezhen, China.
