Ambiente (31): al centro della parete riprodotta alla lìg. precedente era rappresentato l'incontro del naso dionisiaco con Arianna a Nasso (H, 1240), ancora dormiente dopo l'abbandono di Teseo, soggetto e iconografia noti da un buon numero di esemplari pompeiani, il migliore dei quali è quello della Casa del Citarista I 4, 5.25 (cfr. voi. I, pp. 136-137, fig. 35). Anche questo quadro è qui riprodotto da una fotografia risalente al 1870 circa. DAIR 53.634

Environment (31): in the center of the wall reproduced in lig. earlier was represented the meeting of the Dionysian nose with Ariadne in Nasso (H, 1240), still sleeping after the abandonment of Theseus, subject and iconography known from a good number of Pompeian specimens, the best of which is that of the Casa del Citarista I 4, 5.25 (cf. vol. I, pp. 136-137, fig. 35). This painting is also reproduced here from a photograph dating back to around 1870. DAIR 53.634
