1.6.2 Pompeii. W.1479. Painting from south wall of the oecus/triclinium.
According to Warscher this showed an imitated wooden frame with wooden doors, a kind of triptych.
This well-preserved picture represented a sacrificial table with a basket of fruit, on the left stood a cock.
